Mistral Velocity Stack specific for Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, Interceptor 650 and Bear 650.
What is the Velocity Stack?
The Velocity Stack is a high-performance component, conical or cylindrical in shape, installed in place of the airbox cover. Its main function is to optimize the airflow entering the engine, improving overall efficiency.
Performance and Benefits
Thanks to its carefully studied geometry, the Velocity Stack improves the engine’s volumetric efficiency, reduces turbulence and optimizes intake pressures. This results in a quicker throttle response and an overall increase in performance.
Parameters such as length, taper and diameter directly influence power delivery: a correct balance of these factors allows a real performance boost.
MISTRAL Version
The Mistral Velocity Stack was specifically developed for Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, Interceptor 650 and Bear 650. Later, using specific software to analyze airflow relative to intake pressure, we optimized the shape and size by defining several prototypes.
These were 3D printed and tested on our dynamometer, analyzing torque, power and rpm results. This process allowed us to identify the most efficient configuration.
The Mistral Velocity Stack has shown excellent results throughout the entire power curve, even at low RPM the engine feels more responsive and reactive, and around 3500 RPM, where the bike typically dips, we achieved a gain of +1 hp and +1 Nm of torque. Combined with the Mistral Air Filter, performance increases further, reaching up to +2.3 HP and +3.5 Nm.
The component is fully CNC machined from solid material, using the best technologies available today. Installation is simple and requires no modifications to the bike or ECU remapping.

The product is installed directly into the airbox. The process is simple and guided by a video tutorial accessible via QR code.
Installation time: 5–7 minutes.
Blue Line: Original airbox
Red Line: Represents the typical Stage 2 setup, achieved by installing the performance air filter and removing the airbox cover. The cover is replaced by a metal bracket that holds the filter and fully opens the air intake. This configuration improves airflow and therefore performance, but doesn’t offer the best results in terms of output or protection. For example, in case of rain, the filter may be exposed to water.
Green Line: Shows the result of our Mistral Stage 2+, which combines the performance air filter with our Mistral Velocity Stack. This solution not only further improves performance, but also offers effective rain protection thanks to its design, preventing water from reaching the filter.
Is the gain only 1 HP?
No. The 1 HP improvement is recorded at 3500 rpm, which is the most critical point for the engine. When combined with the Mistral Air Filter, the gain can rise to +2.3 HP and +3.5 Nm.
Why hasn’t the manufacturer developed a similar product?
The manufacturer designs the bike for general use and optimized for mass production. However, with the right knowledge and specific testing, it is possible to perfect every detail to achieve performance beyond the standard configurations.
Why is the Velocity Stack made of aluminum and not 3D printed like the prototypes?
3D printing is excellent for rapid prototyping, but the commonly used materials are permeable to liquids and less resistant to solvents, gasoline and heat, risking deformation over time. Aluminum, on the other hand, guarantees durability, resistance and a perfectly smooth surface. High-performance 3D printing alternatives would have similar costs to aluminum, so we chose the most reliable and durable material.
Is the Velocity Stack also useful on completely original bikes?
Yes, the development was carried out on a completely original Royal Enfield. Even on modified bikes, the benefits remain proportional to the modifications performed.
Is ECU remapping necessary?
No. All our products are designed to be 100% compatible with the bike’s original setup, without the need for any ECU modifications or remapping.
