The winding roads that embrace the lake offer breathtaking views, exciting turns and the possibility of stopping in the most charming villages of the region. Departure from Como: the door of the lake Our adventure begins in Como, a city that enchants with its mix of historic architecture and modernity. After a stop in the charming old town, start your engine and drive along the SS340 road that winds along the western shore of the lake. As you leave the city behind, you will be greeted by spectacular views: the sparkling lake opens up before you, framed by the mountains that overlook it.

Argegno: a picturesque village on the lake After a pleasant drive of about half an hour, you will reach Argegno, a small village that looks like out of a postcard. Here, the pastel-coloured houses overlook the central square, while the cable car to Pigra invites adventurers to a panoramic view of the lake.

Towards Menaggio: among villas and gardens Continuing along the SS340, the road winds its way through small villages and historic villas. You can’t miss a stop in Tremezzo to visit Villa Carlotta, famous for its botanical gardens. Then continue to Menaggio, a lively village where you can enjoy a break with a beautiful view of the lake.

From Menaggio to Varenna: a short ferry ride From Menaggio, board the ferry to Varenna. It’s a short crossing, but gives you a unique opportunity to see the lake from a different perspective. Once in Varenna, you will find yourself in a romantic and timeless village. Stroll through its cobbled streets, visit the Castle of Vezio or simply enjoy the calm along the “Lovers Promenade”.

Stop in Mandello: visit our craft shop From Varenna, continue along the SP72 towards Lecco. This stretch is one of the most fascinating for motorcyclists, with tight turns and views of the lake that will leave you breathless. After half an hour of journey, you will arrive in the village of Mandello del Lario, where our business is located. We will be more than happy to welcome you in our headquarters, and let you enter our reality with a short guided tour. The stop in Mandello could also be a great opportunity to visit the Moto Guzzi Museum, which is less than five minutes away from us.

Bellagio: the pearl of the lake Once you have taken your bike back, follow the road to Bellagio, often referred to as the “pearl of Como Lake”. The route is a succession of curves and spectacular views. Once in Bellagio, explore the old town with its narrow alleys and artisan shops, or visit the gardens of Villa Melzi.
The journey ends with the return to Como, along the SS36 and the SS342. After such an intense day, the city welcomes you again with its charm, offering the opportunity to end the day with the evening lights that are reflected on the water.
